I only had one magazine subscription when I was a kid. I poured over every edition especially the catalog portion. I would lay on the floor by my bed and dream about my own VTOL Aircraft and zooming around town in my own personal jet. It is really a great memory. I know this is a worthwhile archive to access. So go one and embrace your inner geek kid and read about the elevator to space and the invisible jet and the volcano generator and anything else that catches you.

Neil Patrick Harris as Billy/Dr. Horrible: An aspiring supervillain of the mad scientist variety with the catchphrase, “I’ve got a Ph.D in Horribleness.” He desires to become a member of Bad Horse’s Evil League of Evil and use his inventions to take over the world and enact social change for the betterment of humanity, whom he sees as ignorant to the problems of the world. His unintentionally humorous socio-political beliefs include the paradoxical idea ofautocratic anarchism. As Billy, he struggles to make a romantic connection with Penny.
Felicia Day as Penny: Dr. Horrible’s love interest, whom he sees at the coin laundromat. She is idealistic and generous and volunteers at a homeless shelter. Her optimism clashes vividly with Billy’s cynicism and misanthropy, and her benevolence with Captain Hammer’s narcissism.
Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer: Dr. Horrible’s arch-nemesis. Hammer is a self-centered superhero possessing super-human strength and near-invulnerability, though he is clearly the antagonist. He enjoys harassing Dr. Horrible even when the situation does not warrant it.
Simon Helberg as Moist: Dr. Horrible’s friend, who has the underwhelming ability to dampen things. Dr. Horrible calls him “my evil moisture buddy.” It’s implied that he’s in the Henchmen’s Union, and he can be seen aiding Dr. Horrible in robbing a bank.

# And may I add it is awesome. NPH is fantastic and Nathon Fillon is great as Captain Hammer. So worth watching.

Boing Boing covers a matter that should be important to everyone. But like most civil liberty issues the people and our rights are being bulldozed under ground. Haven’t you all read 1984? If the parties involved in this, who knew it was going on, who installed the spyware on the machines, who monitored and so on don’t lose their jobs and go to jail for this I am home schooling any kids I may have. This is the most egregious abuse of power…STOLEN power at that. Pennsylvania, where this occurred has a 2 person consent wiretap law, meaning if the student’s parent didn’t sign a consent for to allow the monitoring of the student in their home this is without a doubt a felony.

I deplore this kind of thing. It makes me want to burn everything I own with an rj45 jack in it.
