Boing Boing covers a matter that should be important to everyone.  But like most civil liberty issues the people and our rights are being bulldozed under ground. Haven’t you all read 1984?  If the parties involved in this, who knew it was going on, who installed the spyware on the machines, who monitored and so on don’t lose their jobs and go to jail for this I am home schooling any kids I may have.  This is the most egregious abuse of power…STOLEN power at that.  Pennsylvania, where this occurred has a 2 person consent wiretap law, meaning if the student’s parent didn’t sign a consent for to allow the monitoring of the student in their home this is without a doubt a felony.

I deplore this kind of thing.  It makes me want to burn everything I own with an rj45 jack in it.
