The hawk is an extension of the hunter’s will, though he is not part of the hunter himself. I shoot forth my bird with my mind and trust in it’s mind to complete the task I set before it.  I rely on the ferocity of the beast that I must mirror within myself. I hunt with my heart, I kill with my will.
