Choose Your Own Spooktacular Blog-venture!
Remember the Choose Your Own Adventure books where you had to pic at the end of a chapter if you should fight the dragon and rescue the Princess?  I loved them! Nancy Pearl Wannabe (favorite blogger ever) decided it would be cool to do this on with blogs and the Choose Your Own Blogventure was born.  Each blogger gets to write a page of the story without knowing what else has been written by the...

Rebublicans for Rape →
Is it any shocker these men, likely rapists themselves are looking out for their friends?  I don’t tend to get political, or I should say I try to not be, but man, it’s unconscionable the way these people act, and its unbelievable they are not only left in power, bust continue to have some modicum of support. From The Huffington Post: The amendment, sponsored by Sen. Al Franken...

Google Wave
So I’m playing with Google Wave now and so far it feels like a chat room.  The dynamic way the Wave updates and plays reminds me of a busy room with lots of rich media being linked.  Only instead of links, it’s the actual media.  Though when I attach an mp3 it does’t play within the wave, but video does.  Which I thought it weird. I can see this as a killer business application...

Mallrats Monologue in Typography - The character of Brodie was the template I used in defining how I classify and treated people back when this first came out.  he was brash and crude and said it like it is…and he banged Shannon Doherty in an elevator.  nice

Understand all the Monty Python references... →
This link will bring you to a collection of the 20 most well known and often hilarious sketches by the inventors of sketch comedy (IMO) Monty Python.  This along with a viewing of Holy Grail and Life of Brian will put you in ‘the know’ for all of the Python jokes and references you have been missing out on.  These guys are a large part of what defines my sense of humor growing up.  As...

Follow Up: Teen Wins $150K Over Amazon’s Kindle... →
I covered this when it first became news back in the end of July. So the lawsuit that followed ended with the teen who had been robbed by the internet giant winning his law suit.  Amazon has agreed to pay $150,000.00 in the class action lawsuit. I can’t say how pleased I am to see a regular person who was wronged stand up for themselves and have it pay off in the end.  All to often people...
